Is life worth the risk?

Is a view worth risking your life?

Is this view worth risking your life? expecially one that's accessible by road?
NOoooooooooooooooooooooo

Nearly fell off a cliff when i slipped in the mud trekking down a trecherous path to a commercialised fake village which is accessible by road. found out later when i refused to go on n took a bike ride back - gd thing is decided to spend some time just basking in the view - the best part of my day.

Besides trekking for 6 hours in mud, i'm fine n happy travelling in Vietnam more pictures when I get back.

Hati berdebar ingin pulang beraya bersama sanak saudara.Di saat keriangan, izinkan saya menghulur
Salam Aidilfitri  maaf zahir dan batin
Pulang beraya, berjaga-jaga di jalan
Biar lambat asalkan selamat!

Merdeka

I actually had a post written for Merdeka - but somehow today I felt it had a slight lecturing tone and I didn't feel like posting it. Since I've been on a sleeping, working, eating, editing (I've got deadlines to meettttttttttttttttttt) and shooting mode for the last few weeks (yes nearly no break in between) I haven't been able to think of anything else to write and so I decided to do what I do best, blabber as I wish ;p

The one break I gave myself was to break fast with my friend and to watch My name is Khan. It was a well deserved break and what a movie. This is perhaps Shah Rukh Khans best movie so far. The beauty of the story and its relevance to our current time. I wish everyone would watch that movie. If you haven't please do.

There's been a spate of racist remarks flying around this past few weeks, nothing surprising, everyone is racist to some degree - but the percentage matters and unfortunately some people cannot be helped. Now one guy releases a video against it and the saddest part of it all were the incidents thereafter. All you have to do is read the list of comments on his FB page and you'll cringe at each comment. Here you are protesting about a racist slur and you do the same? So how are you different from the other person?

Just because someone made a comment you have to do the same? Well all of you are worse than the person who made the first comment coz they never pretended to be anything but racist while you're a closet racist just waiting to come out.

How many times have you judged a person based on their skin colour, nationality or religion?
How many times have you insisted on talking to someone based on their race, language or hired a person on similar grounds? look at your friends circle who do you see?
how many times have you spoken in your mother tongue while in the presence of other races?
how many times have you evaluated the percentage of a race in any field and bickered about it?
how many times have you blamed your incompetency to everything but yourself?
how many times have you preached against nepotism and racial profiling and blindly continue to do the same?
How many times have you chosen a charity based on religion, race?

If you really want to make a difference, you need to look at yourself first.

I'm Starting With The Man In The Mirror
I'm Asking Him To Change His Ways
And No Message Could Have Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself, And Then Make A Change

..... Man in the mirror - Michael Jackson

And so with the words of a man who would have been 52, I wish everyone Happy Independence Day.

Happy 53rd Birthday Malaysia. Love you lots.
